About Us

Hello, we are the vom Stein family: Alexander & Christiane with Anna, Jonathan, Daniel and Romely. We are from Germany and moved to Portugal in 2019. Our main concern is to talk to others about Jesus, whom we know as our Lord and Savior, but also as the Creator. The Bible, the Word of God, is our constant companion to this day, and even after so long studying this incomparable bookshop, we are still amazed at the discoveries this book offers us.

God has revealed Himself in Jesus Christ and wants to lead us into all truth through His Word and His Spirit. World history also reveals His actions and the whole of creation points to Him. Science is a great tool to discover this breathtaking beauty and greatness, from the smallest quantum particle to the largest galaxy in the cosmos. We have used geology, paleontology, archaeology, astronomy and other fields of science in our museum to present something in this context, but our favorite tool is biology, where you can find literally hundreds of pieces of evidence that the truth of the Bible.

Because we love sharing such exciting discoveries, we’re excited to showcase a bit of the colorful story of the Bible and creation at Parque Discovery. Come and discover the truth at the Discovery Park! Here you can find out about the different activities you can choose from.

Coming from Lisbon, follow the A 8 to the Mafra/Malveira exit, which will take you to the A 21. Follow the A 21 until you reach the “Mafra Oeste” exit (just after the “Mafra Este” exit). From here follow the signs towards Torres Vedras.
At the 3rd traffic circle turn right towards Barreiralva. After 500 meters you’ll see a sign on the right saying “Discovery Park 1.5 km”. Turn right again (Rua do Caracol) following the signs for “Discovery Park”, after 100 m turn right again towards Rua Casal do Mato. Follow this street for 1.5 km… and you’ve just arrived!
